The Yelda Family Emergency Department at Swedish Covenant Hospital was built in 2007, as an upgrade of the previous Emergency Department. This is where you will enter.

The waiting area boasts a soothing environment meant to comfort you and your family as much as possible in your time of stress, including comfortable chairs, a fireplace and artwork.

When you enter the Emergency Department, please give your name to the person at the registration desk.

Our Public Safety Department is on-site 24 hours a day to ensure your safety and protection.

Our staff of volunteers may stop by the waiting area to deliver newspapers and help you feel more comfortable.
